Glass

Pick your pain... I mean pane. Seen through glass, our world is not exactly as it might appear at first. These panes found at The Portland Company complex.

"Reflection is the business of man; a sense of his state is his first duty: but who remembereth himself in joy? Is it not in mercy then that sorrow is allotted unto us?
-William Shakespeare

  1. At least you're not a 'pane'. At least, not yet.

  2. This is such a great shot, Birdman, and I'm happy to say it doesn't 'pane' me in the least to say so.

  3. As painful as it may seem, these panes don't do much to relieve the pain in the head, the result of a leaded pane in my glass house.

I suppose if someone was pushed through one of these windows he would become a pain in the pane.

Or he could become a pain in the glass, which is better than becoming a pane in the ass.

    Nice shot, though!

  4. Few days ago I took some pictures of an abandoned factory with windows like these. Only difference is that most of the panes were broken or missing.

  6. Not too painful to look at . . . it looks like a few of those have been replaced over the years. I really like this image; good eye Birdman.
